WORSHIP

Foremost among the means of growth is one’s relationship to the worship services of the church.  Our church has placed strong emphasis upon the observance of the Lord’s Day as a day of worship.  The day best fulfills the purpose for which it was designed by the Creator when it includes worship in God’s House, the cultivation of personal and family devotional life, and the restoration of spent physical and spiritual energies.

THE CHURCH SCHOOL

The growing Christian finds in the Church School an opportunity to study the Word of God and to find its application to daily life and conduct. The church has always counted its teaching function a very vital factor in the growth of the Christian life.  The Church School is for adults, as well as for children and youth, for we recognize that the truths of the Word are a lamp unto the feet and a light unto the path of all age groups.

FELLOWSHIP

One of the notable characteristics of the New Testament Church was the fellowship which was everywhere evident. There is a sense of kinship which binds together all who bear the name and sign of Christ.  The church offers the opportunity for kindred minds and hearts to find good fellowship in its various activities.  There is no better place than the church for the cultivation of new friendships. However, it must be remembered that we find enjoyment in the fellowship of the church only in the measure in which we are willing to invest and participate in it
